Dear Home Care Assistance,

As we get close to the end of the year, I wanted to take a few minutes to update you on the care that my dad has received this year from your caregiver. She has been a perfect example ofwhat a caregiver should be—respectful, punctual, caring and intelligent.

As you are aware, my dad was admitted to the hospital twice this year and the caregiver’s initial call and assessment of the situation helped us to make the right decision regarding his treatment. In each situation she was explicit as to the nature of his condition, which allowed us to make the appropriate call regarding his treatment. She was calm at all times, which only helped us to make an intelligent and informed decision.

As you know, we previously used another caregiver service to meet my dad’s needs. I must tell you that we never received the level of service that we are currently receiving from you. Imagine the worst horror story that you can, and that would be where we came from. It is evident that your screening process is more selective in the hiring and placement of your staff. I know that my dad, as well as our family, really appreciate the service you provide.
